Been back home for awhile now and its been great seeing everybody.. sad to say the holiday mood or spirit hasn't been with me.. dunno wad the hell is wrong!! everyone else seems to be having alot of fun..well maybe not everyone but im sure that those who are having fun must be really happy celebrating.. i've brought back my pretty dress and shoes but have only gotten to wearing that one pair of heels.. the thought of me feeling this way sickens me ..really.. tot i'd be having so much fun seeing old fwens and family.. something is lacking.. either that or im getting old.. which is really a pathetic excuse since i'm only 22.. perhaps if my baby was here i'd be alot chirpier.. but whos to say we wouldn't be having petty couple arguments..
As i speak.. 2 of my close fwens are telling me their plans for tonight.. New Year's Eve.. and i've decided to stay home.. so i don't know why im asking other people what their plans are.. i hope my decision of avoiding the massive crowd tonight at clubs or town in general is wise.. my mama will be home so its all good.. plus i get to chat with my baby online..
Seriously, my future in Perth is starting to look alot more promising compared to a future here in Singapore.. the entertainment scene here is hell lot more happening but in my opinion..not necessarily better... it really depends what you like..

Brief recollection of the past week..



Its been awhile since my last post.. Have been wanting to put up some pics of the fabrics we have been working on for the past week and basically what i've been up to..
Its really overwhelming meeting people of the fashion industry.. especially for me since im a nobody.. i just feel like sucha small fry!!! My boss has been amazing... very down-to-earth.. a beautiful person inside and out..
OOOhhhh... got to babysit her beautiful daughter Alexia last week and shes shooo cute!! She said I LOVE YOU!!!! I was so shocked cos i never eva tot i was gd wit kids... awww.. shes so endearing..!
So anyways.. this week and next will be pretty darn good.. i think.. cos i have tix to Face of Perth fashion show tomorrow.. Sylma gave me 3 tickets and it feels great to enjoy perks like that.. and on Wednesday.. theres a showcase to attend... graduates from TAFE would be displaying their final pieces...great stuff!.. Will definitely take photos for that one.. and for tomorrow's event..
Finally, many have returned home and some dear fwens are dearly missed!!

I got a call yesterday from Sylma Carbrera..fashion designer for PureSoul.. shes hiring me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Abit unfortunate that i'm not gonna be paid but OMGOMGOMG!!!
She's an internationally recognised designer who has accomplished so much and i wasn't sure who she was till i checked her out on her website and googled her name.. its so amazing.. i just cant believe this is fo'real!!! Went to her apartment today which is where we'll be working btw.. cos she has yet to set up a studio in Perth yet so.. her apt is GORGEOUS... and her lil daughter.. has the longest eyelashes i've ever seen.. This is gonna be a ride.. its all about the experience and i hope i can do good and help her out... cos she definitely has alot to offer..and i dont wanna disappoint her.. its such a huge thing for me.. Anyways gotta go.. im gonna list her website so keep a lookout... ciao peeps!

I just don understand how some people can be so rude and two-faced.. i understand how sometimes it takes abit of fakeness to deal with strangers..like being super nice (altho there isn a need to).. or being stand-offish cos you just donno how to react to new people and their weird or lame jokes.. but when ur with people who are constantly gonna be around you.. there really isnt a need to show anything more or less of yourself.. just be yourself!! It doesn't help that these people are spoilt.. it bothers me especially when these habits inconvenience me or affect me.. Garh!

Anyhow.. on a lighter note.. i made myself a bookmark.. and yes i was bored.. and i have been dying to do something creative..haha.. so there u go!

I know i shouldn't be complaining since heaps of people are still muggin for the exams.. but im really farking bored...!!! Cheryl's still having exams..Lyn still busy wit sch.. but she promised me shes gonna bring me to the coolest and dodg-iest places to shop so tts cool!! haha.. n da rest are pretty much busy with their own lives.. my bf still muggin n its not like hes da best person to shop wit...haha..hes very patient but not da best person who can advise me wad to wear or buy.. i need a gay fwen dammit!
I've been rushing rushing for 3 assignments and the last one seemed to take forever to finish! Was so bloody unmotivated already.. im still hoping for a D though.. but wadevar~~
I've been at home dancing around..blasting my music.. wishing Mag was wit me to cheoro some cool dance moves..maggggggg..i miss u..sobsob``
N todaeee i got so bored after my bf left for sch tt i played dress up..haha.. actually its not really dressing up..i was putting on eyeshadow n stuff..masacra blablabla.. dancing to music.. so lame.. n so bored!!! but it was fun..ahaha.. n i ended up taking photos n editing some wit Picasa..covers up ur flaws very well u noe..

should go try for those wo still haven discovered the wonders of Photoshop n Picasa..haha.. but probably cos not as vain as me.. but nvm..

So tempting!!.. The Nokia 8800 Sirocco Edition is way out of my league.. so i guess i'll have to settle for either two of these babies.. The Dolce Gabbana one is a must-have for all taitai & celeb wannabes.. hoho..but its so sleek i dont care what others are goin to say about it..i want i want!! Imagine me.. a fashion editor/ merchandiser for Vogue Magazine..walking along the streets of Madison Square (Marina Square more like it..) talking to a big client on my D&G mobile.. how cool how cool!! *chuckles*

The one week break is officially over.. and the best way to get over it is to party!! So..went to Metro's with a super fun bunch! One of our bud's gf was here for holiday so was a great excuse too to get everyone in the mood for clubbing..ho.. n so i wore my new mascara..wore my new shoes..wore my sportsgirl top for the first time since i bought it last sem..too long ago..! haha..so fun!

Anyhows.. its time for school now which means its time to switch gear.. where i put on my specs.. and wear a dorky attitude (on the inside..!) Finished the second filming at Sala Thai restaurant and next would be on tues at Mahsuri.. wish this will end soon..dammit.. not that i dont enjoy it but its taking too much of my damn time! Do i whine too much..I mean after all an artistic director is allowed her sporadic tempers and occassional bossiness rite!?

The food documentary that i'm currently 'directing'..*chokes*.. its a uni film project and its freakin stressin me out!! The indian chefs were really nice and kind..giving us free food n all.. im telling u not ALL indian people are stingy and stinky.. they were super kind and generous! Feels like im ready to intern at Mediacorp..haha.. There are a couple more restaurants to go before we're done filming and i dont even wanna think about the editing process..
Anyways.. we spent some time at Freo and the beach during the weekend shopping and breathing in fresh sea-air.. theres a word for it i'm sure.. n i think im getting thicker each day eating junk! pleh!

I'm bored.. I'm hungry.. And i just created a vain collage of myself.. And i just got a 3-1 printer. I'm tired.. I'm lazy.. I've got work to do.. but i'm not doing it..
Think i've been staring at my com too long.. surfing the same sites all the time.. Ebay, Friendster, UWA mail, Trent's Blog (Pink is the new blog), Hotmail.
I can just imagine feeling beer-lardy lost if i didn't have the internet and computer.. talk about technology taking over.. sometimes as i blog and type in silly things.. i think about Carrie Bradshaw in SATC and her semi-blog experiences about life, sex, friends, work etc..No one captures the lives of the lovelorn and the love-seeking in NYC better than her.. Speaking of which.. i really really wanna get the whole SATC dvd collection. AH-HAH! Search for cheap ones online!! hahahaa!! sudden revelation! Beautiful! Whee...! But i wonder when i'd ever get down to buying these things that i 'watch' on ebay.. haha.. O well.. Today's Monday night where you find the most exciting and interesting tv dramas in one night! Monday night is the only night worth staying up for cos tv for da rest of da wk is farking boring and i'd have no choice but to do work.

I'm so proud of these pictures.. they look so professionally shot! I love this new pair of heels that i got from Novo.. gawd.. lurve'em lurve'em lurve'em! I'm actually hunting for a pair of flats which is more fit for sch cos my current ones are wearing out.. pretty pretty heels.. la di da~~
So anyways.. don the necklances look pretty darn good.. haha.. the heart-shaped one is from my sayang..the squarish looking ring from my lammie Eu.. the Perlinis from my beloved sista.. the rest not important.. haha.. those were given for my bday.. n i thank you all so very much!!
Oh yeah.. i'm actually thinking of buying a 3-in-1 printer/photocopier/scanner but not quite sure which is the more trusted brand.. so if anyone reckoned they could offer some sound advice.. holla ya'll! Deciding between a HP and a Canon.. its 99 for both and my concern is the cartridge so..nth more to say abt tt. Behhhh...
